Mixed Media /Plastic /Wood/Purple

Base 8inx11in

Zack Nguyen is a hybrid artist and independent curator based in Dallas, Texas. Working across moving images, conceptual photography, site-specific installation, technology-driven performance, sound, and new media, his practice explores nowness, identity, and the lived body—positioning art as a site for healing and connection between self and world. Navigating the paradox of chaos and contentment, he balances minimal form with expressive intensity, weaving emotional, sensory, and technological registers into his work. Nguyen’s art has been exhibited internationally in Berlin, Brussels, Gimpo, and Stuttgart, as well as across the United States in Dallas–Fort Worth, San Antonio, Laredo, New York City, and Durham, and he recently received the Digital Arts Award at POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair presented by CIFRA. Currently, Zack Nguyen works as user experience design researcher, and an adjunct professor teaching digital imaging and interdisciplinary studio courses at Dallas College’s School of Creative Arts, Entertainment, and Design.
