Sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn't. Here we have several instances of things working out.
In the spring of 2024, Mitchell and I played several shows with Kelby Clark. Kelby got us a gig at Captain Quack's in Austin and we performed with Kelby, Patina Lush and Jasper d.H. This was our third show of tour (fourth if you count an outdoor matinee in Austin to a few uninterested restaurant-goers). Esteemeed guests pushed us to dig deep.

After Austin, we played in San Antonio at an outdoor event along the San Antonio River. Bit of a bummer when someone broke into Kelby's car during the show. Mike // Patina Lush got the window taped up and we met up with Kelby again in Denton. This was our second time at Rubber Gloves (the first is documented on a split CD with Sunburned Hand of the Man) and we were happy to perform alongside Blue Lake (Texas's own Jason Dungan). Rubber Gloves rules because Sarah Ruth and Ernesto are so friendly, and the audience is typically comprised of focused listeners. Stephen Lucas recorded this one.

In April of 2025 we opened up for Ken Mujo alongside our buddies Tree Palace (maybe one day there will be a Tree Palace cassette???) at Mid City Ballroom. MCB may be our home turf in Baton Rouge and sound engineer / record store operator / jack-of-all-trades Rob Demouy gave us this nice soundboard recording.
