Hal
Lambert, Mitchell Mobley, and Kelby Clark toured together throughout Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi for a week in March of 2024. During the tour, Hal and Mitchell were playing as a duo, and Kelby was playing solo. The day after the last show - they woke up at Hal's house in Baton Rouge and decided to play together in a trio formation for the first time. They turned on a field recorder beforehand, and captured the moments heard on this tape.

In this session, Kelby was playing a low-tuned nylon string fretless banjo, Hal was playing a telecaster with utilization of various effects and extended techniques, and Mitchell was playing an arrangement of both traditional percussion instruments as well as a bowl, bells, tiles as well as other various objects.

Kelby Clark - fretless banjo

Hal Lambert - electric guitar

Mitchell Mobley - percussion

Mastered by Ben Livingston
